This weekend, the proposed Cudgen Connection precinct will host three community information sessions in Kingscliff, Casuarina and the Tweed to gauge local residents’ feedback regarding the revised $300 million development, which aims to deliver standalone health, education and essential worker housing facilities on the Tweed Coast.

The $300 million Cudgen Connection proposal will deliver a health, education and community precinct, jobs and housing on 5.7 hectares next to Tweed Valley Hospital and near Kingscliff TAFE.

The team, working as Community Connectors, will identify regional challenges and solutions as part of the Cudgen Connection Community Engagement Program (CCCEP), a structured initiative designed to deliver meaningful and measurable outcomes.

- Creates 1,000 jobs; a catalyst to stimulate the local economy; addresses border closure issues
- Koala Research Centre, business incubator and community services aimed at mental health and suicide prevention within a community hub
The proposed new project, Cudgen Connection, will help deliver a standalone health, education and community precinct providing jobs and essential worker housing on the Tweed Coast, as announced today by joint partners Centuria Capital Group and Digital Infratech.
